KTForce project presents its 2nd Thematic Seminar – “Promoting Entrepreneurship within Universities” that will take place in Dresden, Germany, on the 14th of March.
The thematic seminar will approach several themes around the support of entrepreneurship within universities and will give the opportunity to the participants to:
- Get an overview concerning conditional frame and innovation culture in the Saxony region;
- Exchange about their own experiences;
- Take part to an open discussion on the theme.
Questions such as: “Are there strategies to support start-ups from universities?”, “Which difficulties do you have to consider in your region?” or “Are there concepts to ensure the transfer between universities and companies in your region?” will be approached along the event.
Systematically fostering regional spin-off-projects is one of the key areas of knowledge transfer. The announced seminar will focus on the impact of universities on spin-off-processes, possibilities to educate potential entrepreneurs within universities as well as financial and non-financial support of spin-offs. Experiences from different European regions within the field will be exchanged and discussed among experts, project partners and interested guests.
